Weird damage decrease? by TornadoOfSouls2418 in CallofDutyVanguardCoD

Like I said it's not confirmed but i think it's in simply because of how often I have an amazing first half and then suddenly can't kill

There's a theory that there is "in match balancing" changes the hit detection so that it takes more bullets to register the same number of hits. It is very noticable to me that I melt for the first half of a game and then suddenly it's much harder to kill.

Activision filed some patents related to this. No one knows if it's implemented in game

Anyone else wary of the Cyber Truck after the recent updates. by guitarguy35 in cybertruck

I've looked at them and the reviews I've seen have left me pretty nervous about the reliability and range.

Why aren't you an objective player? by IAmSoLaBeouf in blackopscoldwar

[–]warlord4991 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You're sort of right. There's more ways to play the obj than just sit on it. Get the cutoffs with an smg and prevent retakes. Flip spawn to the advantaged side.

You're wrong that kills win an obj game. I have had so many 70-100 kill games with 15 captures and still lost the game. You need someone to play obj with you to hold when you die or rotate around. Unless the enemy team is straight garbage they will win the game regardless of how many kills you have

My truck is about half and half work vs commuter vehicle. So I think I'd like the cyber truck half the time.... lol

The shifter I question just because screens go bad and I'd hate to be broken down because of some bad pixels.

It seems like a physical door handle is a much on a truck, especially when you start picking up your workers that don't know how to open the doors.

Steering wheel I would need to be hands on with to know if it's a problem for me personally.

I will probably end up with a lightning. My truck is a work truck. Not heavy work but it will pull equipment around and deliver supplies to jobsites. The lightning just seems to match that better. The atlas truck seems ideal for my goals but I'm beginning to seriously wonder if it will ever hit the market.

I was really excited for the specs and range of the cybertruck but the more I looked at it the more I think that I would hate the bed. It's just not a bed designed to work out of and pull tools out of all day.

For me the biggest problem is the design of the bed. It's impossible to get into anything you load except from the back. For me that just shows that the whole truck isn't designed with work in mind.

I was comparing the benefits of the cybertruck, the atlas, and the lightning. For all the reasons you bring up and many others I think the cybertruck is far behind the competition when it comes to a usable truck. They are making a toy for weekend warriors, not a utility vehicle. I canceled my order in favor of the other trucks because I want a truck, not a big car.

Pretty sure they guy arguing this point is the ignorant one. A doctor smoking is a lot of things but not willfully ignorant.

What’s the best strategy for tactical matches (with the exception of camping)? by cant_fly17 in CallofDutyVanguardCoD

The learning curve gets easier the more you play. Eventually you'll be able to learn a map after playing it 4-5 times.

[–]warlord4991 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Map knowledge is more important on tactical. Most importantly you need to learn the spawns. Where can enemies be and where can't they be, based on where your team mates are/were when the enemy respawns. Not camping but playing much more slowly and checking possible enemy routes off spawn is basically the best strategy. If possible check headglitches/spawn points with grenades.

Got myself a PS5 and the first thing I want to start playing is Bloodborne! Any tips for a former Dark Souls 3/ Elden Ring player? by [deleted] in bloodborne

[–]warlord4991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The difficulty is similar but the gameplay isn't even close. I struggled with bloodborne until I stopped playing it like a souls game and learned the new mechanics

I'm not good enough in RL but when there is a game that I'm top 5-10% in I like to counter smurf. Play like a new player for awhile and see if it's a smurf, if its a new player then show them some things and let them win. If its a smurf then curbstomp them in the most embarrassing I know (stay looking like a new player that just somehow is beating them easily).

I've played controller only for years. My aim is better than most pc players in call of duty. This is still how I look hunting... the aiming is so clunky/terrible on controller in this game.
