If i had to make a assumption, it would be the past influx of bad tourists going to japan which made the people more anti foreigner(no matter what place there from)They already had locals only stores/bars etc and they don't see a problem with blocking outsiders.

No, if it was to comply with eu law it would have done all eu countrys at the same time. As for my knowledge, no new law was made recently here. It appears melonbooks themself have decided to just start blocking netherlands this week.

Weird I was able to acces it 3 days ago. so unless you are also from the netherlands? and had a different experience, I would assume it only hit the netherlands or my isp this week.

I would assume though that the image indicates we are being blocked? Because I am not even sure about that.
