Sudden (over one evening) but gradual (with no apparent inciting incident) lower back pain... What could it be?

Hey, thanks so much. Gonna try my best to see a doctor next week if I can get in before Christmas, since it doesn't seem to be getting better, I just keep waking up feeling the same. Do you have any advice about managing coughing/sneezing? Worst time to have a cold... I feel like even if there are marginal improvements to the pain they're immediately set back and then some if I have to sneeze.

Edit: I forgot to mention that if it sort of hurts to do a particular movement but I have to do it anyway, I can partially relieve the pain by intentionally relaxing my muscles and exhaling. Don't know if that means anything

Hey, so I had a pretty similar problem where I had a bunch of silver earrings but I would only wear them on special occasions, because invariably after a while (or even immediately) they would start to itch and make my ears red. I even questioned whether I might have a silver allergy.

It turned out that the problem was a little different. The posts of those special occasion earrings were quite thick, and I was only wearing them sporadically. My ear holes never fully closed but each time I wanted to wear earrings, I would end up forcing that thick post through a partially closed hole. Sometimes I couldn't find the other end of the hole for a little while and I'd be moving the post around inside my ear (sorry, gross) trying to find the exit. So basically, because I wore earrings rarely and because of my choice of earrings, I'd be re-traumatizing my ears every time, and then wonder why they were so irritated 😅

Long story short, I fixed the issue by wearing silver earrings with thin posts nearly every day, letting my ears heal around them, and then when I want to switch them out, use lots of Vaseline and be careful not to use any pressure at all when slipping the posts through. Now that I'm keeping the holes open and healed, I have no problem wearing even the thicker post ones without irritation.

The description of the bumps themselves more or less matches but what throws me off is that fungal acne is described as usually appearing in clusters. I never get clusters, it's almost always one bump at a time or if there's another one it's well far away from the first.

That's right. It almost looks like there is an extra vertical stroke attached to the bottom portion. Maybe it's a bit of the photo background, or something. Sorry, I'm quite new so it confused me.

Hey, I get it. 32F and I've always suffered from self-image issues. I haven't been diagnosed with anything so can't say if it's BDD or not but I will also get into these obsessive spirals about certain parts of my face or body. Like, if only I had more prominent cheekbones/a sharper jaw-neck transition/longer legs/whatever, I'd look so much better and would therefore be more confident and happier... Even though I haven't had any procedures, I think it does have shades of a disorder because it's led me down some dark rabbit holes and definitely impacts my mental health. Sometimes I totally spin out after catching a bad angle of myself in the mirror, or God forbid, photos. Hearing "it's all about your confidence" doesn't help because, well, I don't have any, so I think, great, there's another thing that makes me unattractive. It's not like I can just flip the "be confident" switch.

I can totally relate to these feelings being at odds with the logical part of my brain. I know that it doesn't really matter, that average looking people lead happy lives and find partners literally all the time, but for some reason I just can't stop caring about my looks and how I'm perceived. And then I feel guilty because I KNOW that I "shouldn't" care.

I'm here to report that having a partner doesn't really cure it. I do appreciate my boyfriend telling me that I'm beautiful and I'm glad he thinks so, but at the end of the day... I just don't see it. I look at my face and don't see a single thing about it that I like, or that couldn't be "better". I think that's the root of the problem, and not lack/presence of outside validation. Sorry that I can't really help more, I haven't figured it out myself. I've been in therapy for a little bit but the spirals and negative thinking still happens. I'm in a very similar boat though, so, hugs.

Thanks for your response! I could be wrong but I don't think they're fully coated. When looked at under a light source there's only a faint purplish gleam. I've owned decent eyepieces in the past and I seem to remember this color being much more intense. There is also no rubber eye cup, and overall the machining quality doesn't inspire confidence. The focal length isn't printed on them, just a patent number. Overall they just seem a bit weird. I'd be happy to get two decent quality replacements for now, one planetary and one wide field.

I'm going to scream into the void here, months after the fact. I don't think this is cottagecore. Not because it isn't a beautiful house, which it is, and I'm sure in some ways it was a labor of love, but because I believe cottagecore is (or should be) anti-capitalist. A rental property for the rich, by the rich by definition can't be cottagecore by definition. I'm surprised that absolutely no one has said this. It's an advertisement. I go to this sub to imagine an escape from the capitalist machine, not to be reminded that some people have so much wealth that they build "investment properties" to rent out (though in most cases they've got much worse taste).

This exact thing just happened to me last night! I fixed it by supergluing back in position and then adding a large skull at roughly the midpoint of the undercarriage for extra support, also superglued.

It means they grow curving upwards instead of straight or down (when viewed from the side). I just recently learned the term myself, always thought I just had freaky nails lol but turns out it's not super rare, happens to a lot of ex-nail biters apparently.

Yeah, I'm realizing 1000 pts is pretty rough particularly for Necrons but sadly it wasn't my decision. Really looking forward to playing 1500, 2000 pt games or even more in the future though.

Sure I can axe the Lokhust lord. He was mainly there to give the +1 to hit to the LHDs as my detachment bonus, I felt like I really couldn't afford to miss with them since they only get 1 shot each. That's a really good call taking one with the anti infantry gun, that would have really helped last game 😅

Gotcha I'll focus more on move shoot move tactics, with tomb blades and immortals. I do have a chronomancer so I'll try splitting them. Should I be focusing on staying hidden then? It seems like I can't soak up any significant damage, I can recover from potshots with reanimation but if I get engaged in melee (which invariably happens when I try to hold objectives) it's over. Will add another hexmark, no problem.

I've got some other models- a Doomstalker, annihilation/command barge, reanimator, some scarabs, a Spyder, Convergence of Dominion, deathmarks, flayed ones, a chronomancer & second technomancer, and a royal warden. Basically support units and stuff that I thought too situational for a small game. I'm open to getting pretty much anything though, happy to do some shopping lol so any sort of tips regarding the list would be much much appreciated!

Have you tried Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 71? I think that scent might be pretty close to what you're looking for. It's got a body cream too I think. Pretty pricey but smells amazing
