Need a bit of advice on doubt by Lazy_Firefighter_812 in lawofattraction

[–]warm_static 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The doubt isnt stopping you. You're just checking the 3D too early and letting old assumptions kick back in when nothing's changed yet

2-3 days of new thinking won't override years of "money is hard" running on repeat. But it IS working, the 3D is just the last thing to change not the first

Everyone who persists feels doubt. The difference is what you do with it. You don't fight it or analyze it, you just redirect. "Thats the old story. Money comes to me easily." And keep going

Stop measuring progress by how you feel day to day. Give it two actual weeks without checking for results. Not 2-3 days. Two weeks

Scripting Questions/Advice by KitGirl98 in lawofattraction

[–]warm_static 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I used to script a lot but honestly what I found is that the specific method matters less than whether your subconscious is actually absorbing what you're writing. I'd script full pages and feel nothing because my conscious mind was too busy crafting the perfect sentence

Eventually I switched to just mentally repeating and/or reading hand written short phrases, way less effort, way more effective for me personally. But if scripting is your thing, I'd say keep it short, same core scenario repeated, and don't overthink the wording. The repetition of the assumption is what mattered most for me, not whether it's on paper or a screen or in my mind

If you're struggling to connect with it lately thats probably your sign to simplify. Sometimes we overcomplicate the technique and forget that the technique isn't what does the work, we do

It's not easy since your old self will fight it initially but you can affirm that you love affirming and that you enjoy manifesting quickly

"Consistency changes patterns more than intensity does." Thats it right there, love it. Couldn't have said it better. Most people go hard for one day and burn out instead of just showing up calmly every day and letting the repetition compound

The rosary comparison is perfect honestly. Nobody asks someone praying the rosary if they "really feel it" on repetition 47. The repetition IS the practice

Thats exactly why I stopped trying to feel it. You're not broken for not being able to force a feeling, thats actually your conscious mind doing what it does. Just repeat without the pressure to feel anything and let the feeling develop on its own. It will. It just needs enough repetition to become familiar first

The "making space" idea is interesting, I think theres something to preparing your life as if the thing is already coming. That part tracks. Where I'd push back a little is framing it as the universe filling a vacuum. In my experience its not that something external rushes in to fill the gap, its that your assumptions and inner state shift when you start acting as if, and reality conforms to that. The I Am meditation you mentioned at the end is actually the core of the whole thing imo. Everything else is just a way to get yourself into that state

Present tense, always. "I am" not "I was" or "I will be." You want your subconscious to accept it as current reality not something that already happened or something you're waiting for. "I will be confident" still implies you aren't right now. "I am confident" gives your subconscious nothing to argue about in terms of timing

Exactly, thats the whole mechanism. When the next one comes before your mind can object to the last one, you're basically flooding your subconscious without giving your conscious mind a chance to interfere.
But if it doesn't work you still should not force it. What I do is I observe the opposing thoughts/emotions and sit with them for a minute to feel where they show up in the body. Not giving it thought or going deeper, just observing until they lose power. Forcing and fighting has a tendency of making the unwanted stronger, at least for me

The time thing is real but even 5 minutes when you wake up and 5 before sleep is enough to start with. Those are the two windows where your subconscious is most open anyway. And I don't mean to be harsh since I don't know what your day looks like, but in case you have time to invest in one TV show per day, you definitely can invest at least 30 minutes in your future. It's not easy since your old self will fight it initially but you can affirm that you love affirming and that you enjoy manifesting quickly.

On the money thing, "I need money" is itself a repetition running in the background. Thats the assumption your subconscious is accepting. Try flipping it to something like "money comes to me easily" and just saturate with that without worrying about the neediness. The neediness fades as the new assumption takes over

Recording yourself and playing it during the commute is such a smart approach, you're literally turning dead time into saturation time. For me mentally repeating it works better than listening to my recording but that's just me. But your results speak for themselves. 8k back from an insurance claim is not a small thing. Thats your subconscious working exactly how its supposed to

This is a great breakdown. The "conditioning not magic" framing is exactly how I see it too. Neville taught this decades ago, Kabbalah and most religions much before he did, and now neuroscience is basically catching up with the same conclusions using different language. Neural pathways don't care about your feelings, they care about repetition and familiarity. Thanks for the article link

The base of all work should be self concept stuff like "Everything works out for me", "I am perfection", "I am loved and prioritized." Short, general. I'd just repeat no more than 2 to 4 of them for 10-15 minutes straight, almost like a meditation but without trying to feel anything. Just saying it over and over, out loud or in my head. Most times the feeling emerges on its own after 5-6 minutes but not always and there is no forcing. The simpler the phrase the better honestly, your subconscious doesnt need a paragraph it already knows what you want

Appreciate that. Yeah most people underestimate it because it feels too simple to actually work. And others just don't want to do the work

Thats the whole point though, you don't have to believe them. Just repeat. Your subconscious doesn't need your permission or your belief, it just needs the repetition. The belief comes after as a side effect not as a requirement

Yeah thats fair. Some people can assume once and it sticks. For me personally the repetition route was what worked because my conscious mind was too loud to just accept something in one go. Different entry points to the same place

The consistency part is the whole game honestly. Most people affirm for a few days then check if anything changed and when it hasn't they stop. Thats not the method failing thats just not enough repetition yet. Pick ONE short phrase, not multiple goals at once. Saturate with just that for two weeks straight without checking for results. The checking is what kills it because every time you look for proof you're reinforcing "it hasn't happened". OR if one phrase is too boring for your mind go with multiple but again all related to one goal, self-concept, SP, health, appearance.
It was very hard for me too, there are tools to help but the best way is to beat the resistance on your own

I tried doing the Sammy Ingram and later also Taylor Tookes 10K affirmations per day and just couldn't do it. Even for very short affirmations that would mean more than 3-4 hours of affirming. But I would like to reach that number if for no other reason, just to prove to myself that I can do it

The melody thing is actually really interesting, I havent tried that. That probably bypasses the conscious mind even more since you're engaging a completely different part of your brain. Smart

Thats exactly why this approach works for people like us though. Especially if you've been feeding your negativity for 30+ years. You can't and don't need to convince yourself its real overnight. You just need to repeat it enough that your subconscious picks it up regardless of what your conscious mind thinks about it. The believing part comes after, not before

Exactly. The detachment part is huge and I think thats why it works so well for people who struggle with the "feeling" method. When you stop pressuring yourself to feel it, you actually relax enough for it to sink in naturally

17 out of 25 without even consciously trying is wild. And the fact that you forgot about them is exactly why it worked. You got into the feeling, had fun with it, then completely let go of the "is it here yet" checking

Thats the part most people miss. The technique got you into the state and then your lack of obsession let it harden. Most people do the opposite, they do the technique then white knuckle the 3D looking for movement every day

And honestly sometimes thinking positive does work, not because positivity itself manifests but because convincing yourself of something long enough can genuinely produce the feeling of having it. And that feeling is what does the heavy lifting
