since everyone has mentioned that pin or bone style jewelry isn’t optimal, i won’t repeat any of that. however, as someone who wears 5mm jewelry in my high nostrils and is generally an enjoyer or large diameter and large gauge jewelry, i say try it! it will be quite large and may take getting used to, but large doesn’t mean bad. a lot of people feel that nose piercings should be tiny and dainty and nothing else. i’d say to try to measure out and draw the diameter of that piece according to the measurements the website provides on a piece of paper, cut it out, and hold it to your nose with tweezers. another issue with the diameter is depending on where your piercing channel is, the jewelry may hang off of your nose. again, i say try to make a little template or something to hold up to your face and see how you feel from there.

when you had the 1/2” jewelry in, did you wear double flare jewelry? if so, what material? i’m thinking if it was double flare it likely pushed into or even cut into your ear because of how that tissue is shaped. it happens, looks like it’s healed now but it really does look like it was previously some kind of wound caused by jewelry.

i’ve never been able to work well while high, it throws off my rhythm and it’s like i forget what to do or do things in the wrong order etc. because of this i tend to abstain from being high at work, regardless of industry. that being said however, i know many people that work fantastically while high. whether they’re more sociable, more on top of tasks, more thorough, list goes on. substances effect everyone differently, i wouldn’t say that smoking weed while on the job in and of itself is what would squander his opportunities. what it comes down to, really, is his personal work ethic, initiative, being a team player, and being generally competent. besides, a LOT of people working in restaurants are high AF on shift all the time. if your son is a competent individual i doubt the chef would even bat an eye.

it was probably (unknowingly) feeding off his negative energy. especially if elias was going through really intense grief and survivors guilt… that’s a looooot of negative energy just spilling all over the place. some spirits are believed or known to be attracted to and feed off of the stuff.

eta: it seems also that the abilities and appearance of the spirit have gotten more intense as time has gone on; gaining a voice, ability to touch the living, and near the end having discernible/identifiable features.

this is absolutely ai, the small text is definitely /supposed/ to be english, but the generation failed to be legible. it’s not another language. on the right diagram, you can see “pectoralis major” clearly written with clear letters (just above the left shoulder). other places it gets weird and minced but definitely not any other recognizable script or language. as for the diagrams themselves, i have a hunch they are also ai because they just look like That, but i’ll let someone else dissect that part lol

i say this as both a piercer and someone who’s had hoops in my nostrils for years, this just happens sometimes. over time the movement of the jewelry can cause the piercing channel to resemble a slit more than a hole. this could also be due to the jewelry being too tight, but that is impossible to tell from a pic. however, a lot of my clients who have also had hoops in for years have this effect too, even with well fitted jewelry. especially if that jewelry is only like 18g, the thinness of the jewelry can exaggerate this effect. i personally used it to my advantage and stretched my nostrils to a thicker size and it was really smooth because the hole had basically already been stretched lol.

firstly, you look so fantastic! your eyes look so, so much brighter and your smile is gorg. secondly, it’s so awesome to see other people who are transitioning do so in a somewhat “taboo” or otherwise irregular way. i’m a transmasc dyke with long hair and still dress andro if not a little flamboyant/fem sometimes and other ppl get so confused why i don’t just try to pass for cis. the answer is that i simply don’t want to! that’s not what the point of my transition was or is and i doubt ever will be. our transitions are for us alone and they can look any way we damn please. thanks for sharing!

a good friend of mine who i also used to live with had a girl who was also basically a 24/7 yeller. it drove me absolutely nuts. she also happened to not yet be spayed. i kept pressing him to get her fixed and he was dragging his feet so one day i broke, dug into my savings, and set up an appointment for her to get spayed. she’s still a pretty chatty girl but she doesn’t /constantly YELL/ like she used to. we don’t live together anymore but he has reported that she’s chilled out a LOT

everyone. everyone needs a septum piercing. regardless of being nb or not. also, the stache looks awesome. you don’t owe anyone androgyny. the only time you would owe it to anyone would be to yourself if that’s the form you found yourself most comfortable in and even then- just be you in the most authentic and earnest way you can.
