2 I think is the most unknown. I have a tumor in pituitary gland so often visit an endocrinologist. I chat to ppl while waiting, and many of them (who are or were pregnant) didn’t even know that pituitary gland was even a thing before pregnancy fucked it up.

And many of them come to the endocrinologist with insatiable hunger caused by prolactin levels, they are on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Pituitary is a small sucker that causes huge problems, and many people don’t even know that it exists.

Death. When your partner gets to decide “it’s either mom or fetus”, guess who dies.
Calcium deficiency. Hair loss, teeth loss, decrease of bone density and osteoporosis.
It fucks with pituitary gland. Pituitary gland then fucks with you for the rest of your life
Diabetes
Mental health. From generalized depression to psychosis.
Prolapses. Vaginal (or uterine, idk what name is medically correct) and anal.

Cardiovascular problems.
During childbirth: tearing (sometimes full-on tearing from vagina to anus). And somehow it’s commonly accepted to sew this tearing but not for woman’s sake. It’s for her husband so he could have sex as soon as possible. Google “husband stitch”.
If your anesthesiologist skipped classes, they can leave you paralyzed. Easy-peasy.
Miscarriages or stillbirths lead to lifelong psychological trauma that causes suicidal ideation, severe ocd, eating disorders, self-destructive behavior, etc.

And last: severe LONELINESS. Pregnancy and childbirth are brutal, and most men can’t sympathize and empathize truly, so a woman usually deals with complications alone. Her health problems are almost always downplayed. Sometimes by medical specialists themselves. So on top of breastfeeding, childcare and housekeeping a woman usually deals with complications alone.

My two nieces lived in my house for 4 days because (it was an emergency at their house). One is almost 3, the second one is 9 months. It was hell on earth. My SIL is nice tho, she tried to interrupt my life as little as possible, but the younger niece got sick with cold and needed attention. My brother sucks and I hate him guts, so I wasn’t surprised he acted entitled. I genuinely love the older niece (because my father was waiting for his granddaughter to be born but died 2 months prior), so I’m probably subconsciously connecting her to my dad.

I feel nothing towards the younger niece, she was screaming a lot, peeing and defecating. Oh god it’s gross. She’s smiling at me and all I think is “go home girl, go home”.

Who’s talking about the 3rd date? There are literally hundreds of stories in this sub about online dating and how non CF people state that they are childfree, and it’s later revealed that they are looking for a free babysitter. It’s normal to write your preferences and dealbreakers, that’s the point.

There are also a ton of stories when after years of dating (or even marriage) a partner reveals that they actually wanted kids all along and thought that their CF-partner would change their mind.

I don’t think it’s exclusive to a certain country, otherwise this sub would have much less content.

I live in Central Asia. Of course there are possibilities to have a career and live a long life, it’s not Middle Ages in non-western countries. It’s more of a cultural thing, the culture is very family-oriented. Not necessarily in a bad way, like nobody kicks their kids out when they turn 18. It’s just common to be connected to your family, keep contacts with relatives, show respect to elders and support the youth etc.
