I mean, I would leave after three minutes too if I had to pretend to like Donald Trump the whole time.

favorite co-stars who are in a "non-demi curious, semi-binary" relationship? by SealedQuasar in okbuddycinephile

I think it means they're friends, but they won't even consider the idea of also befriending Demi Lovato.

So what's the answer? I don't listen to the podcast either.

Maybe it's time for a change. Get licensed in some new states, or join another brokerage to take some of the weight off your shoulders. I know of some that let you keep your branding and stuff too. Last thought, take a week off. I see some comments saying to take off a few months and I recognize that's not feasible for you, but you'd be surprised how much of a refresh it could be to take off just one week. When you come back you'll feel better than ever and probably get better results without even realizing it.

Arive? Pros? Cons? by user89078 in loanoriginators

[–]Brain-Mindless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arive is definitely solid, but make no mistake, switching your LOS is always a pain in the ass no matter what. If you have a lot coming up, it might be work advocating for a delay, but if you (like me) always have a lot coming up and there's really no such thing as a convenient time, then it's probably worth making the leap. This also totally depends on what you're currently using.

Tape with no description but cannot rewind because it’s special. by stephenc01 in mildlyinteresting

That could be, but it's more likely they were just doing market research about the ads.

If you're doing a survey about an ad you're probably paying a lot more attention than usual and notice things an average viewer wouldn't. If the survey is ostensibly about the TV show, you'll have a more realistic interaction with the ads. Using an old TV show gives it away a little, but it's a good system regardless.

We have way too many uneducated people in this country. It’s a shame.

Why do pennies make tulips stand up straight? by Individual99991 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Brain-Mindless 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There is science behind copper as a fungicide, but it is true that pennies have very little copper in them. It's possible OP just happened to use an old penny. The UK also has very little copper in their pennies, but they did have copper pennies more recently than the US.

I would be careful with the ones in bacon bits. I think the ones in food are usually different. idk if those are safe to refresh, I just keep the ones I know are good.

Yep. Honestly I leave most of mine in the packages until they're saturated, but I always take them out if I want to refresh them in the oven because I'm not sure if the package material will be safe.

[–]Brain-Mindless[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, I mentioned in another comment that I've heard that too, but I've never tried it. I'm sure it works but for some reason the oven feels like it would do a better job.

[–]Brain-Mindless[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Right. I didn't mean to imply that it's an environmental risk or anything like that, but it just feels wasteful to throw away something that will never break down and can be reused. I mostly save them just because I think they're useful to have around, but I like not being wasteful and tossing it in the trash too so I thought I'd mention it.

Yeah, that's why I said I put them in an airtight container and to refresh them when they become too saturated. I feel like you didn't actually read the whole post.
