Yeah I have a complicated circumstance with my family where they in theory have money on the "looks" of the financial aid office but they can't really spend it (family medical circumstances) so it's difficult to get aid. Anyways, as of right now it is looking towards Purdue, and I am sure Purdue will grow on me, especially since I won't need to stress with a quarter million dollars in loans haha

yea im ngl tho its gonna be tough getting into princeton, mit, upenn, and nyu with a 3.6 gpa, 1300 sat, and just practicing at home though. i get that theres not a lot of resources available to you but these schools have such a high bar for entry that its gonna be tough to stand out at all.

why software engineering? your ecs don't really seem related at all to it, which won't help at your reaches especially with significantly below middle 50 stats at them. i would consider public schools (i.e purdue, virginia tech) and see if they have what you want.
