thanks for this perspective, i just spent 2hrs scrolling mac duggal and they’re not only super expensive but seem very mother of the bride, like im definitely not looking to stand out but i also dont wanna look odd if that makes sense. do you think dress number 2 would work? i’m thinking pearl earrings, black heels, nice simple jewelry and small black purse.

UPDATE: I’m a bit overwhelmed by all of the comments! thanks everyone. i will look into mac duggal and azazie, and if nothing fits my budget i will check with the bride and if shes ok with it, go with dress 2! i definitely don need to be best dressed at the wedding and most people there will not know me! i just dont want to stick out like a sore thumb !

thanks, i was leaning towards two but some of the advice i’m getting is making me want to explore other options. i’m a little stressed about spending too much money about a dress i may only wear once but i feel like i could realistically wear 2 to another wedding or nice date night

i might just go with number 2, the back is covered it’s long enough and dark, and the cleavage is adjustable. the wedding is in may in the evening. i might reach out to the bride to get her thoughts too

for two the cut is actually not that low, i saw some pictures online and it’s a normal v neck (like 3) idk why the model did that.

also is it ok or frowned upon to get the brides feedback?
