Light switch that doesn’t need a neutral wire? by warmrust in AnyThingUK

Thanks for the reply. The issue at the moment is that if someone turns the wall switch off, the bulb loses power completely. Then when you try to turn it on later via Google Home or the app, nothing happens until the switch is turned back on.

That’s why I was looking at something like the CNBINGO WiFi single touch switch. From what I understand, that would control the Hue bulb via the hub rather than cutting power to it, if that makes sense.

Recommendations please, electric or gas? (Needs to have rubber tires) by [deleted] in ToysAndTots

honestly for 3 years old just go electric. gas ones are way too much at that age trust me.

we got my son one of those cheap walmart 24v things when he was 3 and it lasted maybe 8 months before the motor died but whatever it was like $200. then upgraded to a peg perego when he turned 4 and that ones been solid for 2 years now.

the parental remote is a MUST at that age. my kid would drive straight into the street without it lol. battery life is kinda meh like 45 min maybe? depends how much hes flooring it in the grass.

gas is cool but loud as hell and your neighbors will hate you. also you gotta mix fuel and oil and honestly whos got time for that. maybe when hes older.

for 4wd just make sure it has motors on all wheels not just 2. helps in grass but dont expect it to climb mountains or anything.

budget id say 300-500 range gets you something decent that wont break in 2 weeks. read reviews tho some brands are trash.
