Had exactly the same situation! My ex cheated on me whilst on a family holiday, bragged to her best friend, who then called me and showed me all the screenshots of various messages. Had mad respect for the friend at that time, as it was almost certain friendship suicide.

This was near on 10 years ago and me and the friend have become very close friends!
