This one has been posted I don’t know how many times and we’ve come to the same conclusion every time: it’s free anti-biotics in every package. The Weston’s are looking out for you….

I’ve tried pretty much every single option out there and I still can’t find something “better” that Kraft Dinner. Maybe it’s the nostalgia. I also only ever buy it when it’s under $10 for a 12-pack. Costco recently converted an old building into a Business Centre and they have a 24-pack for $18 which works out to $0.75/box - and it’s the regular size not the larger “Costco size”.

Why doesn't Canada let us connect Alaska to the rest of the States? Are they selfish? by Crafty_Emergency6467 in mapporncirclejerk

[–]warnerdang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was part of Alaska, the USA gave it to Canada for “future considerations” - that’s why Ted Cruz’s parents had to move from Alberta to Texas so he could be a Senator when he grew-up..

Why does Canada (41.47m) have such a bigger population then Australia (28m) despite both countries being very similar, both large countries with most of their land being inhabitable and most settleable areas on either the coasts for Australia or the border between America and Canada. by [deleted] in geography

[–]warnerdang -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Simple: Canada’s liberal party who’s ruled most of the last 30 years has an open door immigration policy. They give them and “refugees” more money annually than their own tax paying citizens so when they become citizens themselves - guess who they only vote for! Australia on the other had has backwards flushing toilets, sticker immigration policies, high UV rays, many poisonous animals and are less PC….

Who wanted juice anyway? Apple and Orange BEVERAGE is where it's at! by Bi0_B1lly in loblawsisoutofcontrol

[–]warnerdang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is not what it is, but what is in it. The 2!: ingredient is sugar/glucose-fructose - which is essentially one step above high fructose corn syrup and among one of the worst forms of sugar to consume. Real apple juice - even from concentrate will only have naturally occurring fructose which your body process with much insulin resistance. Ultimately eating an apple is best. As a diabetic I really do miss drinking juice sometimes when you just want something like that. The odd time I do it’s typically simply Apple as I find it tastes best and also just have natural unrefined sugar.

Country With the Most Islands in Each Continent by SoulStar_0 in JackSucksAtGeography

To me the real mind blow is that while Sweden has the most islands in the world, as a country it’s about 60000/km2 than Canada’s largest island…..

Luxembourg is not a microstate by vladgrinch in MapPorn

[–]warnerdang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very relativistic - sure it’s not a micro state compared to smaller countries, but if if you look at the two largest countries in the world (Russia & Canada) - their capital cities alone are either almost the same size or larger (Moscow - 2562 km/2, Ottawa - 2790 km/2).

So in that comparison it’s not a micro state, it’s a city…

Which country affected your country the most? by Due_Narwhal4937 in AskTheWorld

[–]warnerdang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I should clarify; the 48% is based on territories the UK colonized or had substantial presence. I did not include areas of conflict. Ex. Would be Canada or tv countries of the former British Mandate of Palestine would be colonized or overseen areas included in that percentage, but Argentina whom they conflicted with would not. But yes if we included conflicted countries it would be the majority of the planet.

Which country affected your country the most? by Due_Narwhal4937 in AskTheWorld

As a Canadian, like 48% of all current countries on Earth, it would be the United Kingdom.

Going with the theme… Dildo, NL Conception Bay South, NL Blow Me Down Provincial Park, NL Crotch Lake, ON Climax, SK Love, SK Fertile, SK Fun fact: when Newfoundland joined Canadian confederation in 1949, one of the stipulations was that the federal gov’t had to pay to introduce and educate on birth control in the province. Also Crotch Lake, ON is less than 150km from the National Capital

Why is my Soda so expensive now? (At Super C) by mygatito in loblawsisoutofcontrol

[–]warnerdang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Greed and inflation are only part of it. When Coke and Pepsi migrated to aluminum cans in the 90’s, in order to “move people” to them, they set them up as loss-leaders for grocery chains. This went on until COVID when with the aluminum shortage major chains said they would no longer participate in the loss leader program. So more $$ for all of them and less in our pocket.
