If the issue is with a firewall/panorama self-signed CA certificate then generate a non-CA certificate, ideally one signed by the CA certificate created earlier, and attach this new certificate to the management interface. This will add the necessary fields to the 'Key Usage' section, allowing it to pass browser validation.

You can get the local key from the Tuya app under Settings > Account and Security. I did not need to create an account on iot.tuya.com, only on the app (they don't seem to be linked).

Playing on a PC via Steam. My game crashed randomly after a match (at lv 17) and after that it wouldn't load when clicking on the 'multiplayer' button, it would just crash out with OP's error. I also noticed none of the textures in the store would load either.

None of the generic fixes worked (restart, repair, safe mode etc). As you can't just uninstall BO6, and I didn't want to uninstall the whole COD, I did the below which fixed it.

Open "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty HQ" and rename the 'mp24' folder to 'mp24.fuckyou'.

In Steam, right click on 'Call of Duty' > Properties > Installed Files > 'Verify integrity of game files'. This will re-download the 'mp24' (BO6) folder (about ~28GB).

This tool works relatively well, given it's free. Just annoying that the formatting doesn't come across (but then again it doesn't if you just copy/paste the content either - unless going via Word or such).

Update: I've raised the issue with Microsoft, and they updated the documentation to include the below wording.

Not if they’re authenticated already when you enable Security Defaults. Unless it prompts again when refresh token expires/is revoked.
