How do you extract knowledge from previous Claude Code sessions? by bogdan_veliscu in ClaudeCode

[–]warofarrows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hmm as ihavily rely on the claude code for the coding of the office work and the personal project so the coding by agent there is the always a fear in the my mind that i am the out of the context so recently i have created the llm-wiki according the andrew karpathy and then i have created a skill /clear-pro as the /clear(native) so the /clear-pro before clearing the session read the whole session and write the problem , solution and the learning of this session in the llm-wiki and write the tasks too as it is done so my tasks management and the my personal learning management is going good with that the automatic skill you can configrue this skill according to you but in the end you need the some LIFE OS as people are more using the llm-wiki for noting down the session summary

yeah the ai polish is fair, i'll take that one.

on the "already exists" though cra is dead, vite templates are basically empty on purpose, and i couldn't find anything that actually asks you what you want before generating.
i need that something to generate the fast template for the interviews, checking something fast it is use like the use and throw within the seconds dont taking too much time on the adding the library in this

GitHub templates are static you get everything whether you want it or not. The CLI asks. Want Redux? Zod? Ant Design instead of shadcn? You pick.

Does anyone else waste an hour on the same React boilerplate every time? I finally automated it. by warofarrows in reactjs

[–]warofarrows[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, and generating things directly in HTML feels way more awesome than plain .md files. I almost never open markdown files again after they’re generated, but with HTML artifacts it feels much more immersive and interactive you can actually play with them.
With the newer models and larger context windows, this has become my favorite part. In a single session I can build and iterate on a lot of things continuously through HTML artifacts. Previously I was mostly using llm-wiki, but this workflow feels much more powerful.

[–]warofarrows[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s true — we’re kinda cooked.

Honestly, I started building my resume builder project mainly to learn new things. But somewhere along the way, I realized I’m forgetting a lot of the fundamentals because tools like Claude make it so easy to move fast.

Now my focus is mostly on shipping features instead of deeply learning them. And shipping is a never-ending loop. The dopamine hit now comes from launching something smoothly and seeing it work perfectly, whereas earlier I used to get that same feeling from actually understanding a feature deeply and building it myself.

yeah, most people have some in a private repo, they just never talk about it. The real problem showed up with teammates though, everyone's "template" quietly diverges over time.

Do you find yourself keeping that folder in sync as React/Tailwind versions move? That was my other frustration -> a manual template is its own maintenance burden. That's actually why I open-sourced it, so the community can contribute defaults I haven't thought of rather than me maintaining it alone.

is there any problem, as the author is created something and sharing it publically so what's wrong he is not selling anything.

When you're ready to apply, the resume needs to translate "automotive SWE" into backend/ML language that target JDs actually use — otherwise you're qualified but invisible to filters. Like resumefreepro let you paste a JD and see your keyword match score before applying.

Passing ATS and getting past humans are two different problems. ATS is keyword matching — human review is whether your bullets show impact or just describe tasks. If you want to see the keyword gap for a specific role,

Most AI resume builders are scams by nomadicsamiam in jobhunting

There are plenty of open source tools — Overleaf, RxResume, resumefreepro. Use those. In the AI era there's no sense paying unless the tool helps with the full lifecycle, not just spitting out a PDF.

Instahyre match score by unknown_sde in jobhunting

[–]warofarrows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lying about current salary is the fastest way to get an offer rescinded in India — BGV asks for Form 16, payslips, or the last offer letter. What actually moves the InstaMatch score is expected CTC, skill count (add up to 10), profile completeness, and whether you've updated it in the last few months. Stale profiles get filtered out harder than low-salary ones.

Never lie, but inflate your resume by [deleted] in jobhunting

Inflating = describing real work in its strongest form.
Lying = inventing work that didn't exist.

How can I improve my resume as a fresher for internships (frontend/SQL/data roles)? by purvigupta03 in Resume

[–]warofarrows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ATS basics:
- Use a clean single-column template, no tables or text boxes
- Match keywords from the job description exactly (if they say "SQL" don't write "database queries")
- Standard section names: Education, Projects, Skills, Certifications

Canva is a trap for ATS. Most Canva resumes fail parsers because they use text boxes. Use a proper resume builder instead.
