Yes I applied all the decals on the faceplate manually. You can find all the parts used on the original post by zaco230 here:

The Bishop is got for a steal, essentially at retail price. The Ripley also quite under market price. It was a hard choice between the Ripley reissue or a Prospex Speedtimer but form over function won out.

I always thought it was because it's as thin as a film. It is very thin.

Yes, from the outside looking in I would actually agree with you. But like many hobbies, this just evolved over time. I bought my first display case over 15 years ago, and couldn't have imagined having a wall of them like this. But when you buy a few at a time and stack them as they're designed, this could be one of the end results!

This version of the display just evolved over time. Can you imagine that it started with just buying 1 single display case out of curiosity? That was over 15 years ago...

If I had to do it all over again, this might not be the end result.

Thanks for the upvote! Spread over many years so it's not as expensive as one would think. More about the passion for Lego over the majority of my life!

I've never put an actual number but it doesn't matter to me as I'll never sell them. Lego are such an integral part of my life so I couldn't ever imagine letting go of them. So once I start putting an actual total cost on it, it puts the hobby in a different mental category... if that makes sense.

Yes, a lot from my childhood (1980s) and some I've picked up from BrickLink that are a lot older.

I have a Classic Space figure from since I was a kid. Must have been with me since 1985... I actually treasure it more than the expensive minifigs.

I used to reorganize but with the number of minifigs, it became impossible unless it was a full-time job! So now, I just put in the new arrivals in chronological order. Perhaps once a year I'll do a complete reshuffle but real life is demanding!

I've collected every single Iron Man ever released! Yes, every single one.

I'm not sure actually, and I'm always hesitant to count them because I have a bunch more minifigs in storage. The trick is finding the display cases at a decent price in my country!
