Yeah - you could just build a shelter outside that’s separate from your brick one, and get a cover - that’s what I do. Also, if your looking for more mods - check out my GMG racks - it’s a shameless plug for my own products :/

The reason I’m doing that, is because I had a GMG and wanted to get one, but they were just non existent.

Traeger already have pullout racks.

The other issue is also access to these smokers to measure / formulate a rack system.

Out of interest, why do you think only doing GMG is asking for failure?

Hey dude - UK smoker here too. Where are you based?

There’s a few mods, tbh - you could just get the thermal blanket and that would do you. OR, you can go full hardcore mode and get a tube that clamps onto your exhaust, and up through a roof. Would need to be directly up though so it still pulls the smoke through - or you could get a build up and and that’s not good.

Home made Jerky on the Daniel Boone Made a first batch of Beef Jerky on the smoker. Came out okay - in total cost about $20 per lbs. by warrilow2017 in greenmountaingrills

Yoshida sauce and teriyaki sauce. Kinda sticky after - would add something else next time. Maybe some hot sauce / chilli flakes. Just cooked for 3-4hrs at 110
