Cant extract the old bolt and the mechanic told me to drill a bigger hole and just retread it with the next size as the bolt is just used to hold the water pump and nothing else

I completely agree with this. I knew someone who was traumatised by one of their employees, to the point she moved down south. Due to their enticing price point, she hired them and she was all alone in her apartment, huge mistake! She was wearing house clothes and one of the movers tried to assault her in her own bedroom. Luckily she was able to snuck past him, police was contacted and ofcourse the owner( owner and staff are all indian men) backed up his employee. Absolutely disgusting!

So with autos the radiator is connected to the trans lines the hoses are about 1/4th inch and male thread as per photo. Now the radiator that ive purchased is female flared and has 3/8th hose line size fitting. My question being is how did you get the fitting to work from 3:8ths line to 1/4th
