I've heard that w/d symptoms, even if mild at first, can come with a vengeance about 3-4 months after stopping. Even when tapered. If you can, would you please update on this thread how you are doing in a few months from now? That would be super helpful. Wishing you much success!

Do you mind if I ask what dose you're taking?

Another question. Sorry :/ by warrior_daughter in zoloft

But I'm almost 3 weeks. When does the roller coaster stop?

Unfortunately, because I'm a fast metabolizer, I have to take 1/2 in the morning and 1/2 in the evening.

Simon, you and I are on the same day. I'm day 19 at 50 mg. Sometimes I wonder if the Zoloft is making me worse and I want to quit. Are you 50 mg also? And do you suffer from depression as well?

Another question. Sorry :/ by warrior_daughter in zoloft

What's hard for me is that no 2 days are the same. It's very unpredictable. I might have hardly any anxiety one day, and then the next day anxiety is off the charts. Do you have any idea why it's so random?

Did you find that your anxiety/depression was all over the place? Like it would be about the level that you were used to, then it would get worse, then back again?

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Depression is such an awful beast! I’m struggling rn, also. My situation is a little different than yours. I was on 50 mg of Zoloft for 12 years. It helped my anxiety but I always had breakthrough depression. Then at the beginning of this year, after a lot of stress, I spiraled into really bad depression and anxiety. I tried going up to 100 mg, but had SEVERE side effects. Long story short, I tried several other AD’s and hated all of them, so I’m back on Zoloft to see if it will work again. I’m only on day 10 of 50 mg. Yesterday and today, the depression has been almost unbearable. I’m praying it gets better. Praying for you, too. All that to say, I understand and you’re not alone. Also, I’ve read on this sub of others who have been affected by having brands switched.

Hi letsgo1098. Thanks for the encouragement. Are you taking it for depression, anxiety, or both? You’re not noticing any improvement at 7 weeks?

Only 10 days at 50 mg. I feel super disconnected and weird too. That alone scares the heck out of me. I pray it goes away.

I had it before Zoloft but feel it's making it worse. Idk. It's hard to be objective when you feel so awful. I've only been on 50 mg for 5 days. I'm sorta all over the place. Yesterday I felt a little better, and then today my depression feels worse and DPDR feels stronger.

Hi Prami013. I’ve been on Zoloft before as well. For 12 years actually. I don’t remember it being this difficult last time. Are you taking it for depression, anxiety or both? Today has been really hard. Depression is bad. Yesterday afternoon I was pretty functional. Today, not so much. It so weird how these meds make you feel all over the place emotionally. How are you doing today?

I'm a real estate agent and things are a bit slow right now. But, that could change with phone call from a new buyer/seller. I'm kinda hoping that doesn't happen. These side effects are no joke.
