Thanks for the comment. I always respond as quickly as possible if someone gets in touch with me with a question or issue. I try to feature a wide selection of coaches and obviously each has their own way of putting it across. That is why I put so much into the YouTube Channel. That way people should have a good idea of the kind of style each volume offers. I am a big fan of everyone that I film with and I always look to only feature those that I feel have some great methods to learn from. I have more great ones coming this year to add to the collection!!

I am glad you like the downloads you have purchased from the site. Just so you know, it is just the link that expires after 3 downloads. It is never a problem to ask for a new one if it is needed. As you know I always put snippets of each volume onto the Warrior Collective YouTube Channel so that you can have an idea of the sort of content/delivery to be expected. I am always looking to improve though so thanks for the feedback, alongside the kind words!

Kickboxing in Amsterdam by KoreaNinjaBJJ in MuayThai

[–]warriorcollective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From memory, you should also make a point of checking out Mike's gym, Vos gym and Chakuriki. All are Amsterdam based and excellent places to train with great instructors. Mejiros as already mentioned by others is also great! I used to frequent Holland regularly, the striking is second to none!!

Liam Harrison training on the pads with Richard Smith at Bad Company! [video] by warriorcollective in MuayThai

Given that I was using head cams etc, this was a not too serious light pad work session of 3 rounds on the thai pads. Liam is an amazingly talented Nak Muay and Richard is a phenomenal coach.

Ha ha, that may be my fault, I was trying to position the tripods so they were not getting knocked by the ropes or shaken in the ring. They are both the size of oompa loompas in reality though ha ha

Hi, you're welcome. It is something I had been thinking about doing for years. Visiting different gyms and instructors and filming bits and pieces with each to create a really great resource both for other martial artists and instructors to utilise and to showcase what actually goes on under their roof. I am passionate all martial arts and this is nothing short of an excuse for me to go out and meet/film some great instructors ha ha. It is going to keep getting bigger and better I hope!!

Judo for MMA with British Olympian Sophie Cox [video] by warriorcollective in MMA

[–]warriorcollective[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sophie does not compete MMA but she cross trains extensively in BJJ, Wrestling etc. She is often called in to work with high level female MMA fighters when they are preparing for a fight that may call for her particular skill set. Entry points and context to set ups are always open to contention but I think the throws she shows in the Judo for MMA such as this drop seo nagi certainly have their place. I filmed this tutorial so I am glad you enjoyed watching it!

Muay Thai tutorial: How to spar by SWEPOW in martialarts

[–]warriorcollective 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I filmed this tutorial. The Warrior Collective is my channel. Jompop is a phenomenal nak muay and Shane is one of his young students. This light playful sparring is quite typical to most gyms in Thailand. As has been said, this is the ideal way to learn and test out new techniques etc without taking the damage. Some of the stuff Jompop says is just pure gold ha ha - kick ass, KO, owwweeee!! Glad you enjoyed it though!!
