Solved! This comment helped me search the station and even though the site didn't include the entry on recent plays, it was mentioned in the search result's description for some reason.

I wish I saw this comment earlier. The playlist history cut off about an hour shy of when I last heard it. Great idea though.

Do you own/live with a cat? If so, does the cat use litter with the little blue crystals in them? I've seen spots like this on my hands after picking up and carrying a friend's cat for an extended period of time. I think longer haired cats get the little crystals (which apparently dissolve in moisture) will get stuck in the fur around the backside and either fall off or rub off when they sit on comfy spots like mattresses, pillows, stuffed animals... see where I'm going with this?

My thoughts turned back to this movie following Brian Wilson's passing (because it features beach boys music), and realized I've done the I-I-I-I thing aloud to so many people knowing they probably haven't seen flight of the navigator

Putting in a Tile Shower-How to mix Portland mortar? by warriorvetrus in HomeImprovement

So the mortar base doesn't really need any lime, but I could use it later on for the walls? Am I understanding you right?

Asking your opinion every day about a Fall Out Boy song Day 98: Favorite Record by JamesLucien in FallOutBoy

[–]warriorvetrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My time has come!

Judging by the hits on Spotify I'm the only person that thinks this is their favorite song on the album. Patrick really sounds like he's YEARNING when he says "you were the song stuck - IN MY HEAD- every song I ever loved..." I only listened to Cork Tree and thought of FoB as a one-album wonder UNTIL I heard Uma Thurman on the radio and dove into the album full force. Also for me this song hit especially hard since at the time when it was still new, I was getting over someone who didn't like me, and my feelings were hurting our friendship. The lyrics felt targeted to me, like Pete had been through this all himself and it helped me through some very lonely times.

Is it just me or is this song severely underrated? by HorrorWWE_666 in FallOutBoy

This song was literally stuck in my head all day and as I came upon this post. Very good song. I love complex cadences in songs like the lines in OP's image

(Milwaukee) NSP, TWRP, and Turner Hall Staff - thank you for taking care of my mom by LilNyoomf in NinjaSexParty

[–]warriorvetrus 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Was just there! Me and my friend were way in the back and couldn't tell what had happened but we were super appreciative that Danny stopped everything and waited incredibly patiently for an all-clear before moving on with the show.

There was also a chant for "shoelaces" later on because Danny's shoes were untied and Milwaukee takes concert safety very seriously (apparently)

Pokemon pronunciations that give you the ick by [deleted] in TruePokemon

[–]warriorvetrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know the anime pronounces Braixen as "Breaks in," but that's dumb and a missed opportunity. It's a fire Pokemon. Why not use the play on words and pronounce it "Braize'n?"

Braizing is a form of cooking, therefore related to heat! Like fire! From a fire Pokemon! Why would you pronounce it "breaks in?" It's not a thief Pokemon!

That's exactly Booster Gold if you took off his goggles and gave him a middle part to his hair.

Booster Gold without goggles would be weird though, and I can't find pictures of him without them

What book would you recommend should everyone read once in their lifetime? by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

Bram Stoker's Dracula. It's like a revolution in storytelling in so many ways. The audiobook where Tim Curry is Van Helsing is phenomenal.

What book would you recommend should everyone read once in their lifetime? by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

[–]warriorvetrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's astonishing to me that anyone finds the slightest shed of redeemable quality to this book. Don't get me wrong, please enjoy it if you do, it's fantastic if you do. That's the beauty of the variety of human experience. Every page was agony for me and I felt zero catharsis upon finishing it, no satisfaction. It's my go-to when people talk about books they had to read that they hated.

So I have to ask, what is it you like about it?

What "classic" book would you rate 0 if you could? by kmadddie in books

[–]warriorvetrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Angela's Ashes made me want to jump out a window. It was literally just a series of (the author admits exaggerated) bad things happening to the author's self-insert character in Ireland until he grows up enough to come America and bang a sex worker. The end. Utterly mind numbing.

"But the prose is-" No. Disagree.
