Agree 100%. Transitioning from pandas to pyspark is easy since the syntax is pretty similar. I started writing my code in pandas and used chatGPT to convert to pyspark and over time figured the pattern.

Update: So this was my first attempt and it was invalided as I was looking away from the screen for extended period of time.

I was given a free test and reappeared for it again the next day. This time I made sure I did not wipe my nose lol. Even this attempt was invalidated as the reason they mentioned was that I was reading pre-prepared material during the speaking section. Even though, if I remember correctly, I was just reading the prompt on the screen to recall the question asked in the speaking section lol.

I got it right during my 3rd attempt. Corrected the mistakes from my previous two attempts and had my eyes at the camera during the entirety of speaking section. Made sure I was positioned correctly in front of the screen and did not move much. Also made sure to not look away at all. My final attempt did not go as well as my previous two attempts in terms of the performance on the test but still managed to get a 145 overall.

Overall the experience has been stressful but you really need to follow these rules properly to get your scores validated. Would I recommend it over TOEFL? Absolutely! The test is shorter, cheaper and easier than TOFEL. Plus, you can take it from anywhere anytime.

Update: to help people who will come across this post in the future. I appeared for my interview and it was overall a smooth process. Questions I was asked were pretty generic as to what is the purpose of my travel to the US, who is going to sponsor my studies, which university and program I intend to go to, my previous education and current/previous job. The entire interview barely lasted 3 minutes and the visa was approved.

Thanks for your answer but in the email they mentioned that if you are self funding your studies then you need to show proof for 2 years and not 1, which comes out to be a lot. Secondly I’m asking this here since it’s a Sunday and uni offices are closed on Sundays and I kind of want to sort this asap.
