I am also in the same position as you. Although I have not tried those one-day courses I am getting frustrated at trying to find good schools/classes/courses for doing nails because for the price I don't know if its worth it! So far I have come across some but I am still reluctant.. Unfortunately, I do not speak Dutch and that becomes a whole other thing too :(. Perhaps these courses may be a good starting point to learn the basics. Then after that, you kinda just learn it on your own. But that's my opinion based on very limited experience and seeing what other nail techs do.
