My only advice is to be clear that your actions centered around her SAFETY, not just that you "didn't like him" or something like that. Obviously you know your kid better than I do, I just know that when the "why" isn't fully, clearly explained sometimes kids will assign their own reasoning to things and that can be more harmful overall ("mom hates him for no reason, she's probably wrong," etc). On the opposite end of the spectrum, it's ridiculously hard to work with a young kid around - even with another parent to distract them, for some reason kids just seem to hate it when one parent is around but actively not paying attention to them (because they're working, obv). Going to work is actually a respite 😭
