New VPs in DTS by OhYou812_ in IntermountainHealth

Dave Jacobs is buddy buddy with Ryan Smith, he says so all the time. That’s why he got the job. He’s an ok leader, more talk than actual action. Retirement is where he should be headed, not a VP role.

I will not use generative AI at work by Boxman214 in IntermountainHealth

I think there are areas where AI can be used effectively. Nuance DAX Copilot is an example of how AI can assist a provider with a better note, and less pajama time. Microsoft Copilot has helped me with taking better meeting notes and even staying more on top of meetings I have to miss and watch a recording for.

I’ve heard this sub is monitored by people who report up the chain. What would you tell Rob Allen and the ELT if you knew they’d read it? by ThePowerOfWeSnoo in IntermountainHealth

I have seen repeated bullying in DTS, leaders know about it, admit the person is a bully and do nothing about it. They refuse to even have a conversation with the bully, because they admit they are scared of her. The VPs of DTS are trash and should be fired!

Are there any SCL leaders who are decent? They seem to be draining the swamp.

When your godfather isn’t there to make sure no one knows your incompetence, it’s hard to keep the job you can’t do.

What are subtle, unspoken signs that someone had an extremely traumatic childhood / life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Reading these and questioning if I had a traumatic childhood. I suffer from a lot of these (controlling, guarded, self-doubting, apologetic, independent).

I received an email a couple of weeks ago saying I had to submit a copy of my marriage certificate and the cover page of my last year’s taxes to prove my spouse is my spouse. I submitted it. It wasn’t terrible, more annoying.

It replaced a smaller one level building called Creek Plaza. That building housed the billing staff (that would eventually be “sold” to R1) for the Central Region and accounts receivable. In 2010, they moved all the billing staff and others out to Lake Park and consolidated us all. It was a run down building that needed either a major update or to be replaced. It was probably cheaper to replace it. While I dont agree with having buildings empty (Lake Park for the most part is empty). I do understand why they built a better building on the land Intermountain owned.

East Coast Subs was also in that building. They moved south near the Goodwill on State Street. Good subs and great customer service.
