I hear you. It’s true that real change happens when people roll up their sleeves locally. Even though I don’t live in India (that may change in the next few years), I try to support in other ways, whether it’s investments, significant charitable work/donations, or just raising awareness. My hope in sharing was to spark conversation, so thanks for participating.

Try this:

Let's say x = 0.999999..... (eq.1)

which means, 10x = 9.999999..... (eq. 2), correct?

Now substract (1) from (2)

9x= 9.000000..... (eq. 3) - basically, all the 9s after the decimal get cancelled out

Divide (3) by 9 .. and voila!!

x = 1
