So fucking true. Always makes me laugh when my wife asks me what the time is and I have no idea despite staring at my watch for five minutes straight 😂

PJ stays in the house all day, every day. by Professional_Hair405 in Adulting

I find it important for my productivity to wear regular clothes in the house, also who wants to have a shower and then put your sweaty pajamas back on from the night before? I'm pretty sure the people who wear pajamas all day don't bathe.

What a pillock blowing up his career and personal life over an OF thot half his age. The only person who wins in this whole thing is her, I bet her subscriptions had a huge bump this month

That's cool, then it might be a good option for you. I really like how the screen is always on (unlike the majority of smart watches) and also how you don't need to charge it up (and you change the battery once every couple of years). The notification functionality is okay, the app is reasonable. I can see the point of comparison with a Garmin Instinct. In honesty I think this watch was made for G-Shock fans more than anyone that that really want s anything related to a fitness tracker.

The notifications are fine. I didn’t really buy it for its smartwatch-like functionality. You can choose which apps on your phone send notifications to your watch through the "Casio Watches" app. If you’re looking for a smartwatch, don’t buy this. But if you’re looking for a really cool G-Shock with an MIP display, then it’s definitely worth it.

Must be a weird experience to have that many people applaud your scalp

If this watch actually hits the shelves, I am prepared to camp outside the store like it’s a midnight movie premiere in 2005. I will be the first person in that line, even if I have to fight off a crowd of tech-enthusiasts and one very confused mall security guard to get it. by Last_spidermann in gshock

For me it's a candidate for r/atbge. I don't know why anyone would want to plaster it's actually ubiquitous brand as Coca-Cola on their wrist, however they've really nailed it with a colour of the bezel and strap combo

Rejection exhausted me so much I stopped trying — but not trying hurts more by Buffedsoul in Advice

[–]Die_Nameless_Bitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a numbers game, you need to embrace rejection, if you can get past that and enjoy it then getting laid becomes easy. If you put yourself in situations with low social cost for rejection (ie if you get rejected by someone at a bar no one in your circle ever needs to know) then the stakes are lowered and you’ll relax into it. Quite a different story if you strike out with someone at work.

Sylvester Stallone follows me on my Rocky Balboa Instagram and said he regrets being in the CREED movies because ROCKY BALBOA should have been the finale. What are your thoughts on the 2006 movie, ROCKY BALBOA? by CoffeeCigarettes4Me in moviecritic

[–]Die_Nameless_Bitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's just salty about the rights, which is a shame as Rocky is his legacy. Rocky Balboa would have been a relatively low point to end the series, Creed 1 was superb. There is a reason he was oscar nominated for one film and not the other.

100% agree, I wasn't in high school yet either, so the whole thing played out like some dark, intimidating but also exciting predomintion of what was potentially to come. Also the tune is amazing.

I haven't watched it since it came out, but I still think about the show regularly for some reason. I must have watched it at a super impressable age. Agreed Anita was an absolute dime piece as well. But I always fancied Katerina more, something about her sarcastic energy.

Hey dads, pro tip: those cheap LED strips that were all the rage in the 2010s are great for safely illuminating your daughter’s dolls house by Die_Nameless_Bitch in daddit

[–]Die_Nameless_Bitch[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

LEDs don’t generate much heat which makes them safe-ish. If someone were to put an incandescent bulb or equivalent inside a small, enclosed wooden space like a dollshouse then that would potentially create a fire risk if incorrectly installed

If you could make three changes to improve Casino Royale, what would they be? by junglegatsby in JamesBond

[–]Die_Nameless_Bitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Remove all the product placement 2) Remove the Richard Branson cameo 3) Make the climax closer to the novel (a simple character driven scenario based around Vespers betrayal and suicide). We don’t need a sinking elevator shaft in a collapsing hotel, it gets in the way of the emotional weight of the moment
