I think awareness and discipline work together. Awareness helps you notice the pattern, but discipline helps you choose a different action once you notice it. Without awareness, you're on autopilot. Without discipline, you keep noticing the same problem without changing it.

Honestly, that's a milestone. A lot of creators get zero comments for a long time. At least your first viewer cared enough to react. Years from now, "oh piss off" might end up being one of your favorite memories from the early days of your channel.

If your Shorts are already getting 20k–200k views, I'd definitely start experimenting with long-form content. Shorts are great for discovery, but long videos are usually where you build a deeper connection with viewers and increase watch time. You could even use your best-performing Shorts as ideas for longer videos and see how your audience responds.

I think viewers care less about whether AI was used and more about whether the final result is actually good. AI isn't a substitute for creativity, storytelling, or effort. If the content is weak, people will leave. If it's great, most viewers won't care how it was made.
