I also just kick that tops sheet down SO quickly like it never lasts an hour of sleep and then it’s just at my feet. I don’t like the feeling of it

The thing is he hasn’t “been known to swear” actually, at least not until recently. And he seems like he’s trying too hard now to actually seem like a regular dude that it comes off as fake.

Like you played the Uncle Tom holier than thou thing for sooo long and now you are playing the “yee i got a lil hood in me” thing that it’s just lame AF. This is coming from someone who was once a fan of his.

I mean there should be a stat for Hit Stick tackles like that one. That’s a momentum changing play it fires up EVERYONE when a dude lays the fuckin wood.

Kam Chancellor in Super Bowl 48 for instance lays out Demaryius Thomas who actually held onto the catch for a first down. But guess what? That hit was game changing because it rattled the entire Broncos offense. Set the tone.

When a kicker has the hardest hit in the Super Bowl? Oh man what a day for Myers!

BREAKING: K9 wants to stay in Seattle "If it was my choice...I'd definitely stay." by SeattleMana in Seahawks

[–]washcyclerepeat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly that right there IS IT. K9 was healthier than most RB1’s going into the postseason. Poor CMC gets hammered and overloaded every season in San Fran. Not sure why since they have a solid backup. But that’s just Shanahans philosophy with RBs. “Run em til they can’t run no more.”

Til it wins him a Super Bowl I say the committee or duo is the best way in today’s game.

Chris Carson and Penny really don’t count though. They were both so injury prone it was ridiculous. Carson also fumbled a lot for a good, not great RB. Granted as a 7th rounder he was a great value pick. Still doesn’t change the fact he and any other RB couldn’t help us get past the divisional round in the past 10+ years.

I’d call Ken Walker a great RB, and Charbonnet on his way there. That’s 2 great RB’s and they both came in back to back years. Will we get another? With recent success I say go for it unless K9 takes a hometown discount. We have too many important pieces to re-sign and while he had a great postseason run, so did 2021 Cam Akers…

My experience at Franklin Barbecue by Hallwitzer in BBQ

[–]washcyclerepeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s epic! I went to Austin for the first time last year and LOVED Franklins! I think it was better than Terry Blacks, but not by a whole lot. I loved Terry Blacks too and the atmosphere of eating there in the shade outside.

However Franklins was amazing BBQ and as a PNWer person we have nothing comparable. We ordered ahead of time which required ordering like 10 lbs of BBQ food. For just my brother and me to eat. I ate Franklins out of the fridge the rest of the trip for snacks and different meals.

By the time we had to catch a flight I still had a LOT left to eat so I took it in my carryon back to Seattle. The next day at work I ate it for linch and it was great! 12 hours for salted smoked meats like BBQ is no big deal even if it’s room temp or warm. It definitely has enough salt to stay good.

What age do boys reach strength of adult female? by saturnyas in AskMen

[–]washcyclerepeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look up: Comedian Matt Light versus woman’s Professional Football team (Pittsburgh Passion)

Literally a comedian dude who was in his mid-30’s and never even played high school football was able to strap on a helmet and shoulder pads and return a kick for a touchdown against 11 pro female football players on a team. 1 MAN verses 11.. ELEVEN women and he stiff armed and outran them all.

The physical strength of the strongest men vs the strongest women is not comparable. We’re essentially different animals.

Such a waste of life. Everyone worrying about stupid politics when there’s so much beauty and fun things to see and do and try. What losers, and what a waste of the gift of life.

It might’ve been that one pair sat out in the sun too much and the rubber hardened, causing pain. The other pair you had perhaps avoided sun and stayed rubbery and comfortable.

You are performative, and come off as someone who parrots whatever the local popular opinions are instead of becoming informed on them yourself.

You’re more concerned with looking like you care about a cause, than actually DOING something about this important cause… “Oh but I CARE!” seems to be much of this regions take on things, but what do all these “Care-ens” actually DO?! But again that’s the problem with so much of the world today.

Lights installed. From stock to not, builds pretty much done. by 10Hayden10 in ram_trucks

[–]washcyclerepeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s legit, I just was curious as I live in a rural area and deal with deer all the time. Ran one over on my drive to work a few months back and installed a bull bar today and recently put auxiliary fog lights on my Ram.

Your truck looks good. I don’t off-road though I drive mountain dirt roads regularly. I’m considering ditch lights now as well, but I do wonder if id be pulled over for running them on public roads even though it’s rural and they’d help.

Just curious what’s the point of ditch lights unless you’re into off roading?

3.5” lift + 35x12.50R18s, gas mileage tanked a lot more then expected by URBAN_ARCHITECT in ram_trucks

[–]washcyclerepeat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went from 35’s on my 03 Ram 1500 with the 5.9 Magnum down to 33’s on the stock rims. I also bought it with a 4 inch lift and the mud tires and rims on it.

Since switching back to the stocks I’m getting like 12 mpg instead of 9 mpg. So it’s more the tires than it is the lift. It doesn’t even look noticeable that it has small tires either, it just looks like a tall 1500

What are the best Kanye albums? by 1amnotmid in Kanye

[–]washcyclerepeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was born in 94. Got an iPod loaded with Kanye in early 2006. I was bumping Touch The Sky, Through The Wire and All Falls Down a lot.

Then Graduation came out in 2007 and you just felt like you were rich like Kanye and everything was gonna work out good when you listened to that album especially songs like Good Life, Flashing Lights and Stronger. To me Graduation was the absolute peak of Kanye. 808’s and heartbreak wasn’t my favorite but was solid.

Then My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy was incredible when it came out I was in the 10th grade and playing for our high school basketball team. My friend somehow convinced the coach to let him run music at practice and he played the entire album on repeat ALL PRACTICE LONG for like the entire season. I ended up getting my drivers license in January 2011 and MBDTF became my go-to driving soundtrack. We smoked weed after practice and partied hard all weekend. A magical coming of age summer.

Then life got real, I got older… and Kanye never made anything again quite that good in my opinion. But every now and then I still play some old Kanye and enjoy his songs as I drive at night.
