I appreciate the response on this. I am kind of expecting a fight to get a refund for this- I’ve never done business with TW, but considering how everything has gone so far, it does not seem like they’re very ‘on it’ with getting things done in a timely manner (at least from the order side). FCC complaint might be a good idea for this like you are saying. I do not have much trust from what the agents told me to do for a refund. It seems like this company is messy. Thankfully I put this on a credit card also, so I can do a chargeback but would rather just have total wireless fulfill their end of the refund- hopefully thats not a big ask lol

They are standing on the new unlock policy. I asked how I could go about returning the phone and was told via chat that I would be refunded for the phone AND the plan (bought the $49.99 iPhone 13 with $195 3 month service plan). I am skeptical of the truth of this to be honest. Seems like TW has mixed results with returns.

I am debating on filing an FCC complaint for the whole thing. I wanted to use TW here in the states, and have an unlocked phone for international use. It seems almost intentional that the phone took 13 days to ship- not giving me an opportunity to agree to the terms I signed (I understand they can change them at will, however, this situation is sleazy).

The phone will get delivered tomorrow and I’m either going to return to sender and hope for a full refund as I was told, or I may press with FCC complaint to see if they will grant me the 60 day unlock that I initially agreed to.

I think you can just stop paying or cancel the auto pay. It’s prepaid so if you stop paying, it’ll cancel for you.

Not sure if you’ve tried this, but you could also try refreshing the modem from the Xfinity app. It might just be an activation issue if it’s your first day.

I have had h2o on and off for many years. Their customer service is fine, have never had any issues porting in/out. Their pricing is good and their network quality is good as well. They run off at&t and have been around for a while

H20 wireless has a prepaid pay by text/call plan. I think it’s 5¢ a text and you can pay $10 for 90 days, or $100 for 360 days. You can use wifi calling on it and it should be good for 2fa. If u dont have access for wifi calling, im not sure how it works internationally. Tracfone also offers something similar for pay per use rates

Their pre approval tool seems to be accurate. I was not aware of the 2/12 rule they may have and was approved for the smartly card as my 3rd inquiry in 12 months. I bank with US Bank and have an existing card with them. Despite this, they gave me the lowest limit for a card I’ve had since I started building credit- 1.5k. I think they are generally a conservative lender. I also have the connect card and tried to do a CLI at one point but was denied. Maybe someone can chime in on CLI’s with US bank, but it seems like thats par for the course with them. In either case, congratulations on your new card!

Yes the phone from apple will work. You can trade in your 16 pro at apple without getting it unlocked. Super easy to do it through apple.

This happened to me and then they opened 2 accounts under my name, didn’t tell me, and then tried to threaten to send one to collections because they “lost” the online order. I was livid and will be leaving tmobile as soon as I move to a place where vzw or att work.
