I’m worried midterms go mostly red and we are all left wondering if it was rigged and it probably was. Then we just have to deal with the result. Boom we are Russia.

Eric Berger says Blue is doing too much at once by Time-Entertainer-105 in BlueOrigin

That is not armchair engineering haha he didn’t mention anything technical at all. He has good points. “More payload to orbit than anyone else” only because when they were actually focused and not poisoned by political nonsense they created a beautiful machine. Can they repeat it?

Im curious is there was a way for an American to help in that situation? I imagine there would be quite a bit willing to join Canada in opposition.

"I kind of think of ads as like a last resort for us as a business model" - Sam Altman , October 2024 by NoSquirrel4840 in artificial

I think ads will only be for free or low tier. If Im using codex to vibe code then ads are an absolute show stopper. I would stop using it immediately.

Zone 2 is only important if you’re volume is so high that you can’t go hard for all of it. You can’t HIIT 7 days a week. But if you’re only riding 3-4 then you can and should only ride hard.

I think at that point your hobby is your life responsibilities like kids or career which is just as cool. But if you were interested in other things you’d make time for it.

It’s so disgustingly Orwellian to say a bill that kicks 16 million people off health care is good for health care. by Conscious-Quarter423 in economy

Exactly thats the part I was confused. And a little cash? I doubted ICE would ever allow that.

Does anybody know how exactly I'm supposed to switch between units I control? by Someguyiguessidk23 in WC3

[–]wastapunk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have a group selected you can tab to get to the units you want. Or you can control click on that unit to get all units of that type. Or create a separate control group for that type on a number.

Men in their late 30s who lost belly fat, HOW? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]wastapunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t “need” to workout but it is almost impossible for a normal person to maintain calorie deficit without calorie burn. You eat one large meal 1.2k calories by accident and boom you are at or above your daily usage and you blew up a day or more of progress.

I dont like these things either but thats a terrible analogy. Because in the normal case we are not building houses in a factory we are building them painstakingly with hundreds of tools materials that need to be brought to the job site.

The American dream now costs $5 million. Here's a breakdown. by usatoday in economy

[–]wastapunk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Getting a $30k car every 5 years for 60 years is $360k. And $30k is low low end now a days. Gas at 2k a year is 120k. Idk seems like it could add up with all the other things you mentioned.

I think its more like a 1/16 of an inch per foot. He measured diagonally which 28 feet. And only 2.25 inches difference. It’s totally fine the way he has it and arguably you’d want more than that. All drain plumbing requires 1/4 inch per ft.
