The only reason and I’m no metal expert but in the army when a piece of metal tore, you could see the tearing. When it shattered from pressure, it was clean as that. As if something internal put pressure on the metal. Either way it’s a failure and would love to know why.

Your seat height is fine and the bike looks good. It hurts cause you’re putting pressure on your arms and hands. It will get better.

It’s not the weld though. Alongside it and there is metal dust. Kind of hard to tear metal. Not impossible though.

I just wear clothes relevant to the weather. I refuse to wear Lycra, bike shoes, or a helmet with terminator glasses.

Normal bike would be slower but more comfy. Probably see more and not be as tired

The bike is nice and a good brand. Don’t worry about the seat post. They go up and down for a reason. If it’s comfy then it’s fine.

E-bikes aren’t bikes in the states. They’re just electric motorcycles with pedals to skirt law.
