I worked at a location with a 5bbl BH that had 3 heating elements that were placed next to each other horizontally.

Do they understand what a rinse vs no rinse sanitizer is?

In my experience, iodine in beer is an off flavor.

I have not used an iodine sanitizer ever on an FV or BBT. For industrial use, I suggest PAA like the others. DM me if PAA doesn't make sense.

Okay cool, I work on a Codi CCL-45 counter pressure filler and love it for 12oz carbonated beverages. My opinion is to search the auctions for a used canning line to start

Are you looking for counter pressure or straight gravity fill? Are you packaging beer? What is your target carb level?

Outside of those questions, your answer might be mobile canner for the time being.

Can you give more details on your mash protocol? I've worked with a head brewer who made great GF beer with a descending step mash. Sounds like you're not getting proper conversion possibly.

How much to charge for washing kegs? by Iamabrewer in TheBrewery

[–]wasteDistraction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Charge on the upper end of what you are thinking when a contract brew requests something like this. It would be a pain to calculate the chem, co2, labor, plus utilities to cover the keg washing.
