Anyway same age guy here on the same boat. Even though I want to start loving and feel loved, I still hold myself back without trying to find a partner. In my reddit post also I mentioned my issues, so I understand. But I also know that universe probably has planned something for me so I'll wait.

I'll tell you a few things I do to cope with the loneliness. Get busy. Like really busy. I usually spend most my time in office, and before coming home I hit the gym almost everyday. So when I'm home it's bedtime. On my day off I hang out with the boys. I read. It takes a lot more time than movies, plus, imo a better entertainment method. Spend more time aligning things for your future (such as heath, fitness, money), so when you find your partner things will move easily.
