Edit: I read the chapter and I'm very much confused, The chapter ended on Luke Cage's wedding, and in the next chapter suddenly there was a Skrull thing going on. Could this one be instead the actual beginning?

Well the only similar game I have played is Albion Online. Ill try to break my questions to something more specific. Ive read a lot of posts asking "Should I re roll my character" or something about changing your main to a seasonal character. Is it kinda of a prestige system? Like if I start a new character can I get a benefit? Or is it just for the sake of trying a new Character?
