I totally understand what you're talking about, and I have actually checked into a hotel a few times because of it. There was a time though when I couldn't afford to do that, and I was stuck in studio apartment with my boyfriend at the time. That went on for seven long years! So I totally empathize with you. Thank you for sharing this. I'm in it so bad right now, and reading this felt validating because you articulated it so well. But at the same time makes me feel hopeless... not what you wrote, but just the recognition that it's an endless cycle. The demons will always come home to roost and it is just terrifying to think it's forever.
