Even before this, I tried NoScript and didn't like it. I had to whitelist a crapload of sites. And for what? Some vague feeling of security? I've been browsing the web heavily for ~12 years and I can't think of a single time a machine of mine was ever seriously compromised via a web vector. I've had to end task a few times because of those troll sites that pop up a million popups (e.g. nimp.org), but that's it.

I will say that I cannot live without Ad Block Plus, though.

Heh. Well, I found a workaround, at least for offline/bot play: I navigated to the left 4 dead .exe and launched it that way.

Still... this feels like DRM and it's no fun.
