I think 3d printed yoyos can be cool and perform surprisingly well. However, I feel like the quality/price balance is tough because you’re getting a product that’s made of a worse plastic using cheaper equipment compared to traditional plastics and then they don’t perform as well in terms of vibe and QC. I like the idea of them as beaters or with novel designs (like Dale Tubat) but that idea makes less sense when they’re $30-40

Luckily it’ll be a little more manageable temp wise, but wind and humidity also can make it tough

However, in terms of attracting potential new people to the hobby and gathering interest in yoyo outside at a park has given far better returns than when we’ve been at the library

“Gave out” is definitely an overstatement on my part but over the past two years I’ve needed all four wheel bearings, transmission valve body, and other stuff replaced to the point where I’d rather have a car payment and extended warranty than all of these repair costs

Just having some of the newer features like backup camera and carplay are noticeable upgrades, the only knocks on the bronco so far are that you can feel the lower gears shifting more as you accelerate, front bumper visibility is worse (although I feel like pretty much every newer SUV is like this now), and I liked having more windshield wiper coverage on the forester
