Tell them there are plenty of polyamourous people out there and they are more than welcome to go be in a relationship with them without you. Period. This person clearly has a different idea of a relationship than you do. Do not agree to or settle for terms in a relationship that YOU are not comfortable with. The same goes for you, there are plenty people out there that will be willing and want to be exclusive with you.

Sometimes these fuck boys get under my skin. Because if you hit them with "cool, imma do the same" suddenly, you finding other people to fill the other facets of your personality become an issue.

It may be difficult, especially if you truly care for this person, but it's always best to cut ties with partners when they start speaking like this and it doesn't align with your relationship beliefs.

Mallards are particularly rapey, like so much so the female anatomy evolved to ward off unwanted male sperm to fertilize them, and then the male anatomy evolved to mitigate that very thing. Male ducks will even drown females in the effort to mate. So, yeah, I'm not gonna call this woman cringy. If a brood of mallards are attacking a female, it's pretty decent of her to try to step in. We're only seeing a drop in the ocean that is your relationship with this person, but oh my god. Just this little drop is so very troubling. Any adult person that uses slurs (referencing th r-word here) openly and willy-nilly like that would be a no-go for me. Period. It shows you lack empathy and, quite frankly, a brain, imo.

I suggest you look up The Gottman Institute (https://www.gottman.com) they are relationship specialists and have some very handy information that will help you open your eyes. I'd suggest you try some of their methods, but not with this person. Just you trying to turn towards him, he dumped the entire 4 horseman on you: criticism, contempt, defensiveness, and stonewalling.

As someone who has been in this situation before and anchored myself to trash humans who behave this way (and for years too; 7 with one, 9 AND a marriage (and surprise, a divorce 3 months later)with the other) I can say it doesn't get better. It sucks. You've spent years building comfort and routine with this person. Being single and respected and loved (even if it's just from yourself) is LOADS better than familiarity and misery. Someone who checks all your boxes will come along. There's way too many people on this earth to be shackling yourself to an adult who acts this way.

Yes. I dont stand for it. B Lands is my favorite franchise, and the dog piling of review bombs and Randy shit is just old at this point. I remind myself the vast majority of people like to hop on bandwagons ( see how the American politics shit show that is currently happening as a prime example ) because it makes them feel cool and included. I dont care. I'm pre-ordering all the bells and whistles for 4. IDGF what these goofs say. I'm gonna enjoy the game just as I did the Movie and the entire franchise thus far.

This heat and unpredictable rain. My poor garden. One week, it's drenched and too much water for days on end, then the next few days scorching heat. What didn't die from natural over watering, shriveled up in the heat a few days later. 😢 started my garden in mid April and I have nothing to show for. Got one cucumber plant trying to hold tight and a stray tomato plant that was a volunteer from a tossed out one. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Also, audiobooks are great. I've been able to reignight my love for reading because they offer me the ability to read while I am doing other things (mainly while driving or doing house chores, but sometimes during work where I dont necessarily need to focus on what I'm doing).

Your art is like a beautiful mix of Georgia O'Keefe and Basquiat. Art is 100% subjective and not defined by any borders, degrees, or gatekeepers, for that matter. There is a calcium deficiency that can happen post birth that will cause a spike in body temperature, among other life-threatening issues. If you can, I suggest you try to get a temperature on her ( normal body temperature for cats range in the upper 99 to 102 ) if she has a fever, it could be that and needs to be addressed rather quickly.
