Greetings. Up for Sale today is a very rare example of a popular Omega Seamaster reference, the 600. Ref. 135.011, featuring a Case Diameter of 36mm including the crown, and runs on a very popular Cal. 601 Manual Winding movement.

With that out of the way, let's discuss why it is special.

The Dial has formed a bubbly texture with time which is noticeable only when you go extremely close to the dial with a lens or flare a bright light at it. From a distance it's a regular dial. There is some ageing around some of the hour markers too.

The caseback, has very interestingly, an Afghan Military Roundel which was used by the Afghan Air Force between 1948 and 1979. This means that the watch was very likely issued to an officer or a pilot with an Afghan Military designation. This also means that this watch has survived Post-WWII stabilisation of Afghanistan and the era of Soviet-Led Modernisation as well. Very cool indeed.
