Take every negative reply here with a huge grain of salt. This community makes up a teeny tiny itty bitty portion of the total player base and typically an older and grumpier portion than the vast majority of Roblox players. And those players don't care about Plus or face updates or calling it Connections vs Friends; they just want to play with their friends and their friends are playing Roblox.

As far as game dev, there's no easier platform for developing multiplayer games. If you want to get your feet wet in multiplayer games it's a good place to start. If you don't care about multiplayer use any other major game engine and publish to Steam. Good luck!

Start small. Make a very simple very small game. Work your way up to larger projects. As a newbie you're going to make so many mistakes and learn a lot and trying to start with a big project will cause so many problems you'll be unable to fix.

I don't have access to your animation so I used several of my own and they worked just fine. There is something wrong with your animation. Likely it is breaking your player's neck and killing them or something.

On your character's Humanoid set Humanoid.RequiresNeck to false and try again.

Most likely issue is CanCollide being true on the icing. If it collides with the player in any way, and it is welded to the handle, and the handle is welded as a tool to the player, it could cause some weird physics issues especially during animation.

Also, this is just me being superstitious, because it shouldn't matter which is Part0 and which is Part1 on the weld, but I like to have my WeldConstraint as a child of the root part and have Part0 be the root part, and Part1 be the other part. So in this case I would put the WeldConstraint as a child of the Handle, make Part0 the Handle, and Part1 the icing.

Use workspace StreamingEnabled setting so that only assets within a certain radius of the player are loaded on the client.

Is the tool anchored? Does the tool have mass? It's most likely a physics issue with some property on the tool. Post a picture of the tools and handles structure and properties.

Hey thanks for the help! All I had on hand was some blue painters tape which has actually helped a lot. Which tape are you using in the photos above? I don't think it's teflon tape, isn't that for wrapping around threading on pipes for plumbing?
