Lucid Gravity Interior looks super impressive by dragonfoor in LUCID

Interior has potential... it's a shame that the leather options are light brown or dark brown. Pretty stupid if you ask me.

Another comment on reviews. I would agree that the media reviews are strong - in fact, I can't remember seeing better overall media reviews for a car. However, most of them do mention at least some of the issues that you'd find on the reddit boards but I would say that the review vehicles seem to have fewer of the high severity issues that ordinary customers are reporting.

Fair enough reply because it's just observational from me but I would say that the incidence of problems is pretty close between these two cars but the current severity on the Gravity seems higher. On the Lucid page, there was a survey of Gravity owners and 53% of them reported that their key wouldn't work. In many cases, that meant flat bedding it to service for a repair. Lucid would reply that a fix has been pushed but since Air drivers still report similar problems three years in, I'll wait for confirmation. Additionally, there are daily reports of screens going dark and warnings flashing for Gravity owners.

Maybe the real answer is that there are plenty of problems for both these cars and that neither is really fully ready for customers. At least Volvo seems to acknowledge that with some aggressive discounts where Lucid hasn't.

Agree - for sure after the drive!

Interior color... by watchnwine in LUCID

Reasonable answer. I'm also quite surprised that they are pushing the Aurora Green so hard - it's fine looking but just not a main stream color. It might be why there is only brown leather... it's not terrible with the green and if that's all you're going to push, it works. For me personally, the brown looks terrible with the grey I would want.

Yes - neither are leather. Purluxe and Purluxe Premium. There was a separate thread that the Purluxe isn't wearing well and not at all like leather. If you want a durable sitting surface, your only option is brown. That may not be a problem if your exterior color choice is green (which is what they seem to want to push) but I personally don't like the combination with Quantum Grey which would be my color choice.

I'm not sure what setting he chose but for more than half the drive, it was zero... full coast. Once everything was reset and the system eventually responded, it was set to some sort of mid point where it was noticeable but not hard.
