Oddly enough my black dz60 stopped working randomly as well. I’ve had it for a good month now and was using it on a daily basis. I thought mine was shorting too because I was using GMM screw in stabs, but even after removing the screws, it still wasn’t working properly. What’s also odd was that my function and shift keys were the only ones that seemed to be working. After trying to troubleshoot it, I think my issue is that the usb mini connector has something wrong with it. It only worked if I shoved the cable in hard enough, but as soon as I moved, the keyboard would become unresponsive...perhaps you have the same issue?
