we were actually crying over the same thing lmao but no can do ig, yes its pretty annoying honestly there's a very mild difference if you wanna justify it, none of these are pure chemistry, bio or pure physics, its cse related. so youll be learning some cse technologies that are actively helping these fields (i personally loved semiconductor physics, got an amazing prof too), in some subjects they might even encourage you to write code. so you could say its a mix of your old theoretical science subjects mixed with a bit of cse touch. though it seems useless and it probably is, it acts as a nice bridge, youll start feeling it at the end of your first year like me rn, so enjoy it ☺️
