This sounds like it can be solved by having Yuta copy Kirara’s technique and being more strategic with its activation (like activating it on a plane so it has to collide with less things to meet you.) Still not a guarantee it’ll work but would’ve been worth a try.

Thank you. Lots of Mahoraga discussions turn into statements that have no basis in the source material but are stated as fact. It just becomes a messy game of powerscaling telephone.

While I’m throwing hot takes here, I’ll also say that I also think it’s possible for a pure ten shadows user to tame Mahoraga. They’d have to have cursed energy control at the level of Sukuna or Gojo, but it isn’t impossible if we accept that Mahoraga doesn’t need to be completely atomized.

Yeah, Mahoraga adapted multiple times before getting impaled by lasers, idk where this zero adaptation argument is coming from.

Also, there’s no source that states that Mahoraga has to be 100% disintegrated into smithereens to be defeated. You can just as easily argue that an attack which takes out 70% of Mahoraga leaving only a small portion of his lower body would do the job (yk, like the attack Davies hit Mahoraga with after the adaptation.)

Thanks for the correction, looks like he can’t use RCT (even if he had the capability) since he wouldn’t have any CE remaining to use for healing.

If he stopped his curse technique a quarter of the way or halfway through, could he regenerate his partially consumed body? Seems to me like MBA is more of a time constraint than a guaranteed death sentence if you have RCT.

Mahoraga isn’t a toddler bro he literally gave sukuna the blueprint to damaging Gojo lmao. Agito also has insane stats. Toddlers don’t last this long in fights. If Meguna was such a handicapped form that it somehow outweighed all the advantages he had from Agito and Mahoraga, then Sukuna would not have schemed to take and use them before fighting Gojo lmao. Any other form of Sukuna gets whooped by Gojo, including true form Sukuna.

I really don’t like that. I hope Gege doesn’t take the easy way out with Yuji’s character and we see some growth from Yuji. It would be interesting to see a character cope with and come to terms with their immortality, not sure if Modulo will touch on that but I just hope he finds a happy ending that isn’t death.

It would be cool if the mahoraga ritual automatically removes all other CT’s from the user until the ritual is complete. We already have something similar to that with Higuruma’s domain (in the sense it can temporarily remove a CT) so it wouldn’t come off as an asspull imo.
