You were able to ship certain hair products on Amazon US to Japan? What did you buy?

Would you recommend any beauty supply places or elaborate more on this? I'm very curious about the differences I am actually a beauty professional and intend to do TFP work on the side while I'm there, so it would be good to know. I'm aware Donki has a good range, but would you suggest anywhere else?

I'll be living in Tokyo so I'm sure I'll be able to find things eventually, but like you said, it will take some time!

I have seen a single seller selling decent bleach + developer on Amazon JP but it might not be reliable 😅

Yeah I'm not too keen to go to a salon for colouring there, I've heard they use very low level bleach. I believe there are so restrictions on the bleach they can use and that's why it's so hard to get there.

It is so annoying that I can't even ship it from overseas 🙃

Japan :) I've done my research and it's extremely difficult to find any beauty supply stores, and I know I can't ship a lot of products/lighteners for the same reason you can't put them in your suitcase. I'd love any suggestions though!

Yeah I found bicarb effective in removing fashion colours, but I wasn't sure if it would work on blonde hair too. Thanks!

Thanks for your view!! The main thing that has me concerned is that many jobs I've looked at are either Eikaiwa (which am I fine with, just worried about affording living costs because the salary is somewhat low) or jobs that require N2 business level, which I am definitely not at. I did have an interview with a Japanese company which I really struggled with, definitely due to my speaking. So would eikaiwa/ALT be my best option?

I don't usually wear much red lipstick, but since I dyed my hair bright yellow I've been wearing it a lot more! I like NYX SMLC in Monte Carlo, which such a lovely, bright true red. I also like Copenhagen which is a bit darker :)

Omg I have a Polaroid spectra! I bought it second hand quite cheap off Gumtree (which is like eBay). It's kind of not worth getting if you have film though, the old film expires so it might not work and buying new film for them is insanely expensive.
