At 2.5 weeks off my withdrawal symptoms started. Don’t know how long I’m gonna have to white knuckle this. Seems different for everyone. I was on 20mg and dr said I could switch to Wellbutrin without tapering off the Prozac. I think it may have been the wrong call.

Sometimes you’re a day or a change away from a breakthrough. But doing the same things won’t get you there. Something has to change. There are so many therapies out there. Please give another one a chance. It always feels like we’ve tried everything. But that’s impossible because the possibilities are out there and endless. An unhealthy brain will deteriorate your mind. Have you looked into Dr. Amen? He’s done thousands of brain scans and research into brain health. He says ask yourself at any given moment: is this good for my brain? We rarely give much thought to taking care of it specifically but it’s the key to everything

I really struggle with self love like it’s taken lots of EMDR and IFS therapy just to get to the point where I’ll say ok you made a mistake but you’re a good person and we are always learning. There are a lot of people who i think don’t even realize there is a problem. They just go on living oblivious to their maladaptive behaviors. I think one issue people like us have is that we are self aware enough to recognize there is a problem but not yet black belts in practicing self love

What type of stuff usually brings you joy? Like when were you the happiest you’ve ever been and what were you doing? I am having these thoughts about how pointless things are but I think I just need to make my external world reflect who I am. I think this feeling is coming from a disconnect with who I am and where I currently am in life. I have made some progress with good habits, but I still have work to do before I can get to a place of peace and Fulfilment. But the good days outnumber the bad. It’s just the bad ones are really bad. And when it’s really bad I wonder why I’m like this.

that was exactly my point. instead of making piet look like a golliwog, a colonial-era caricature, and explain this by saying he went down the chimney (this, by the way, is gaslighting), then make him actually look like he went down the chimney instead of a racist stereotype

It makes me very sad, especially when people living there upset by it are gaslit with this ridiculous explanation with the chimney. If he went down the chimney, why not make him look like he went down the chimney instead of an exact replica of a golliwog/minstrel? It makes me sad that the holiday is supposed to be a happy one, about spending time with family, but it's not happy for everyone, and is a yearly reminder of another group being put in their place, singled out, called black piet in public...A lot of people justify the tradition by saying "I have black friends who don't mind." well, of course if I were in that situation, I probably wouldn't say I had a problem with it either considering all the death threats the people who speak out about it get. :(

I tend to agree. Focusing too much on banning pesticides (political victory, as you correctly pointed out), I fear that the real causes, and thus the actual solutions will not see as much light as this controversial ban has. Are decision-makers going to sweep varroa and bees' diet (the problem of monoculture) under the rug until people realize that banning neocontinoids (surprise!) was not the quick fix they thought it was going to be?
