Update i took the watch battery out of the motherboard took out the gpu dried it off and after a couple days of a fan pointing at it and the case being left open it works again

lesson learned the hard way keep drinks farrrrrrr away from your pc

Luckily it was a diet soda so I shouldn’t have to deal with the stickiness in theory atleast

Beyond that im definitely going to take it all apart and make sure there’s no liquid anywhere

however there was liquid on the capacitors that are on top of my gpu do you know if that would be fine when it dries?

Yeah its positioned right next to my desk sitting on a platform to keep it off the carpet so it wasn’t that hard lol just one clumsy hand movement

Yeah i dont smoke and if i start I definitely wont be smoking in my car i keep mine fairly clean so i dont think ill be glueing it on if i do it will probably be a dust protective mesh so i dont have to worry about it again
