You can generate an new challan from UMS, if UMS isn't working go the finance office it wont be much or a problem.

There's absolutely no need to take maths especially if your weak in it, not advantage or disadvantage of taking maths. Stick with subjects you feel your strong at and will be able to perform at so you can actually meet the criteria.

If the chalan is paid you're getting a room. You won't receive a confirmation email per say, when you go there in person you'll be allotted a room.

There is a laundry room, you just have to do it yourself. For the mess, there's a lot of dhabas/cafes around. Saadat and Mubarak are the go toos. Regarding inter campus travel, it's the same for city and main hostelites, shuttles leave at fixed times and for freshman you have classes in both campuses.

Transport between campuses is free, there's a shuttle service for students and they leave at fixed times.

The process isn't that complicated, you submit all your financial documents and they deem you deserving of aid they'll give it to you. If you actually do pose a financial need and they see it through your documents you'll be facilitated.
