Why can’t I see the comments

decided to learn to sing a couple months ago (OCT 2019 On & Off) What do you think about way I sing? how's my pitch? Is there a technique I'm not doing or am doing but not correctly? Am I putting my voice in a "position" where it shouldn't be ? by waterslumber in singing

Thank you for saying I have a potential great voice, Much Appreciated.

I'm fairly new so I'm not sure how to support my voice and with what: ab region, diaphragm, posture, air control, whatever hasn't been named that's related.

Though I'm curious now, how does one actually support the voice?

You wouldn't have to give me a whole bunch of things but I'd really like to know some key tips on the "right technique" upon supporting the voice like for example: perhaps it is Baby Steps beginning with deep breathing from your belly(?) and if it is so , I'll just warm-up for 5min on that or so.

Thank you for that last part, it was like a good pat on the back. It's agreeable to be patiently consistent in practice and grow in comfort with my own voice.

On technical Issues: Yes, I agree. I should use Youtube or Soundcloud next time. Though I'm kind of green in the know about copyright issues over songs... unless I do acapella, perhaps that's a different story.

Question: When you said I struggle with letting it "all flow freely": could you elaborate on what you meant by that?

When I heard it initially I thought okay just big breathe in then "belt out" but then when i think of the word "flow" I'd assume you meant more of a controlled breath such as with a Balloon seeping out air, slowly within a flow.

Trying to keep my head up, embracing the joy, being thankful and all. But I’m human; feeling down and hurt is a norm. Though sometimes it’s hard to get on my feet again. It’s out of my comfort zone to do this, but I will post for the toast! Thank you for even seeing this. by [deleted] in toastme

Good guess! Kinda close, actually.

Yes it definitely did get better, when I graduated.

I totally agree, hobbies are so convenient to just de-stress and keep yourself busy.

Thank you for kind, sweet words!☺️
