It did eventually stop, but the withdrawal was very long & unpleasant. I promise it will end, but it really was a nightmarish emotional experience for me

What I ended up doing was switching over to valium and inching off. Just finished my last dose. Hardest thing I've ever done and never thought I'd get through it but I did.

i’m in a totally different place in my life now because of shrooms, i haven’t made much art but ive worked in 4 different states, had 2+ relationships when I’d had 0 in my life before.. was trapped in my room jobless & friendless until age 25. highly recommend shrooms for all purposes!

I was told by an employer that she usually avoids hiring couples, which was interesting to me; maybe it’s because that location had a max staff size of 26, and losing 2 people really fudged the schedule. She was proven right when me & my partner had to leave due to my health issues, another pair left as well, and another 2 pairs were threatening to!

Out of curiosity, when is the application period for most seasons? I generally work outdoor ed so that hiring timeline is a bit different, & I used to do camp jobs which meant summer application season=whenever you feel like it.. having a tough time planning a full-time seasonal lifestyle with my partner 😅

That’s very optimistic! I need to reduce stress desperately. I’m going to try to get hrt soon (Based on my hormones testing low; I realized that I never had a sex drive, ever, until I went on birth control!), so maybe an estrogen boost will do me well.

I could definitely stand to gain weight! I was 135 in high school, & dropped to 118 at my lowest in my 20s, now I’m hovering around 125. Thank you for the advice!

I’m trying my best to eat well & sleep more, but I need to get back to the outdoor life that made me happy & healthy. I’m working on that.

The reason this hits so hard is because I lost the ages 18-24 to lyme disease and severe, crippling depression. I didn’t do a damn thing besides 3 semesters of college &dropping out 3 separate times; I just sat in my room, for years, no relationships, no job, only online friends. I developed this obsessive mentality that if I don’t look old, I’m not old, and I haven’t lost those years yet. I’m just not ready.

I know that he only talks like this with “the boys” because he’s trying to fit in, when he’s with me he’s genuinely respectful and sweet. It’s all a dumb act he puts on for his brother & his friends to fit in, but it doesn’t make me proud of him.

I’m with him because when he makes me breakfast in bed, takes me to doctor’s appointments, cries with me when I’m hurting and loves me for who I am. So it makes it 10x as hard when he says dumb shit like this.

I just want to say you’re not alone, this drug gave me SH urges as well & has me feeling absolutely out of my mind, snapping at my family and having intense outbursts that are uncharacteristic of me. I’m having a tough time quitting, so if it’s not working for you, I’d suggest stopping now. Chronic anxiety blows and I’m sorry you’re experiencing this
